Bologna

Bologna is not only the home of tortellini, but also Europe's oldest university town. Famous personalities like Umberto Eco and Romano Prodi have taught at this university. However, this is not the only attractive aspect of Bologna. The city offers a charming labyrinth of small streets as well as a great number of magnificent palazzi and is therefore the perfect spot to feel how life has been in medieval Italy. With more than 40 museums on different subjects, 12 theatres and 200 libraries, Bologna ranges among Italy's cultural capitals.

Enjoy this diversity!
